Where where you on 9/11? When your favorite team won the World Series? When you heard election results you loved or hated? These shared flashpoints elicit lasting emotional imprints on our lives. They are both public and personal milestones. Writing about your experience in the Big Story gives renewed signifcance with our connected moments in history.
The Butterfly Effect
Unexpected moments can change the course of your life. Bumping into a stranger as you board a subway train. Getting laid off from your dream job. Volunteering on a whim for a cause that you're passionate about Oversleeping. to. You never know what will happen as a result. Through examples and wordplay, you'll explore that turning point, be it large or small, discovering through your writing the significance of what seemed like a chance encounter that made all the difference.
